Modular home MG3 — a modern modular house with a habitable attic, made of four modules

Modular home MG3

MG3
  • 4+2
  • 45–81 m²
  • 6.6/10.7 × 5.1/6.1 m
  • · 16 variants

The MG3 modular home is our offer of a building in modern architecture, in the fashionable “barn-house” style. It consists of four modules, which we deliver as finished parts of the building directly to the customer’s plot and assemble on site into a single whole. The building parts are manufactured entirely in our production hall and transported to the site. Assembly of the house takes one day; finishing works extend construction to a maximum of three days.

MG3 is available in 17 variants — in various external dimensions, areas and layouts. The basic variant has a usable area of 38.5 m² and a floor area (incl. sloped ceilings) of 47.5 m². The largest variant has a usable area of 71.8 m². External dimensions start from 6.6 × 5.1 m up to 10.7 × 6.1 m. All variants can be built under a building permit as well as on notification; the house is supplied in a year-round or summer version.

Exterior

The exterior facade of the MG3 modular home is clad in natural wood — from painted, treated boards. As a variant, the facade can be made as a combination of wood and standing-seam sheet metal on the walls, or the walls can be clad with Vox Kerrafront or Vinylit panels. The roof is covered with standing-seam sheet metal. The colour scheme can be freely adjusted to the customer’s requirements.

MG3 has a compact rectangular body with a 37° pitched roof, with an overhang above the terrace protecting against precipitation and excessive sun, and with a large glazed gable that opens the living room and the attic bedrooms onto the surrounding garden.

Interior

The interior of the basic MG3 variant consists, on the ground floor, of a living room, kitchenette, bathroom and a utility room/storeroom; the attic contains three bedrooms. The layout allows comfortable use of the house for two to four people, as year-round or summer living according to the customer’s needs.

We enter the house through a wide door in the side facade under a small canopy, directly into the day zone of the ground floor. The living room has a relaxation area with a corner sofa and a fireplace wall, a beautifully exposed staircase to the attic and a dining area. On the other side of the house there is an L-shaped kitchen with lower and upper cabinets, a built-in fridge, a hob and a sink, a bathroom with a shower and space for a washing machine and a boiler, and a practical storeroom under the stairs. The glazing in the living room brings in plenty of light and visually enlarges the space.

Floor plans

The interior of the basic MG3 variant consists, on the ground floor, of a living room, kitchenette, bathroom and a utility room, and three bedrooms in the attic. The individual rooms are not large but are designed to be maximally functional and ergonomic. The attic has a master bedroom and two children’s rooms — each with a built-in wardrobe and a full-size bed.

The house is designed for a 4-member family but can equally be a home for 2 people. With a folding sofa in the living room, it can accommodate up to 6 people for an overnight stay. The other 16 MG3 variants have enlarged external dimensions and usable areas — from the basic 38.5 m² up to 71.8 m².
